OneRepublic is an American pop rock band from Colorado. Formed in 2002 by Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins, the band achieved success on MySpace, becoming the most prominent un-signed act on the website. They signed onto Mosley Music Group in 2006, and released their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud in 2007.
OneRepublic achieved chart success with their first single, "Apologize". A remix of "Apologize" was featured on the Timbaland album, Shock Value. The remix version - which was included on the deluxe edition of Dreaming Out Loud - became a major hit both in the U.S. and internationally, reaching number-one in 16 countries. OneRepublic also achieved national success with their second single, "Stop and Stare", which charted in the top twelve on the Billboard Hot 100. VHS or Beta is a band from Louisville, Kentucky, that combines elements of rock, French house and dance-punk. Their self-released debut Le Funk found some success on the charts, but the band became better known in the wake of their 2004 release Night on Fire. In early 2007, after two and half years of touring, the band made the trek to Asheville, NC to record 2007's Bring on the Comets. Released in August 2007 Bring On The Comets marked a slight change in direction towards a more straightforward pop sound; all this was achieved without sacrificing the band's trademark dance sensibility.
The band's core members are guitarist/vocalist Craig Pfunder, bassist Mark Palgy, and drummer Mark Guidry. Chea Beckley has supported the band on keyboards on tour since 2000 replacing Jerome Miller (1998-2000). Mike McGill was enlisted to play guitar on tour after Zeke Buck left the band in 2006. ... Eskimo Joe is an Australian rock band formed in East Fremantle, Western Australia in 1997. The band consists of vocalist and bassist Kavyen Temperley, drummer and guitarist Joel Quartermain and guitarist Stuart MacLeod.
Their debut album, Girl, was certified gold in 2001. Their second album A Song Is a City was released in 2004 and was later certified double platinum. The first single from the album, "From the Sea", debuted in the top 40 of the ARIA Singles Chart, as well as being voted number three in the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2004. Samuel Beam (born July 26, 1974), better known by his stage and recording name Iron & Wine, is an American singer-songwriter. He has released four studio albums, several EPs and singles, as well as a few download-only releases, which include a live album (a recording of his 2005 Bonnaroo performance). He tours with a full band.
Beam was raised in South Carolina before moving to Florida to attend school and now resides outside of Austin, Texas. The name Iron & Wine is taken from a dietary supplement named "Beef Iron & Wine" that he found in a general store while shooting a film. More

Maroon 5 is an American rock band. Since debuting in 2002, the band has sold over 10 million albums in the United States and nearly 15 million worldwide. While they were in high school, the four original members of Maroon 5 played in a garage band called Kara's Flowers, which was active from 1994 to 2001. In 2002, the band members reformed as Maroon 5 and released their debut album Songs About Jane, but the album first topped Billboard charts in the US in 2004. Songs About Jane contained four hit singles: "Harder to Breathe", "This Love", "She Will Be Loved" and "Sunday Morning".

Alpha Rev is a rock band from Austin, Texas fronted by Casey McPherson (formerly of Endochine).
Casey McPherson started Alpha Rev in 2005 after the breakup of his previous band Endochine, which had toured with Staind, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pete Yorn and Bob Schneider. Alpha Rev released their debut album The Greatest Thing I've Ever Learned on March 1, 2007. The Raveonettes are a Danish alternative rock duo, consisting of Sune Rose Wagner (born 7 October 1968, Sønderborg, Denmark) on guitar, instruments, and vocals, and Sharin Foo (born 12 December 1979, Copenhagen) on bass, guitar and vocals. Their music is characterized by close two-part vocal harmonies inspired by The Everly Brothers coupled with hard-edged electric guitar overlaid with liberal doses of noise, very similar to The Jesus and Mary Chain. Their songs juxtapose the structural and chordal simplicity of '50s and '60s rock with intense electric instrumentation, driving beats, and often dark lyrical content, similar to another of the band's influences, The Velvet Underground.

Aaron Zigman (born August 25, 1963) is an American composer, producer, arranger, songwriter, and musician for several recent films.
Zigman was born in San Diego, California. A graduate of Point Loma High School, he studied at the University of California, Los Angeles. While still at university, he had a contract with Almo Irving and wrote songs for Carly Simon, the T.V. show Fame, and co-wrote with David Lasley, Jerry Knight and Steve Cropper. In 1983, he began studying with his cousin George Bassman (who orchestrated The Wizard of Oz and wrote the music for the films Marty and The Postman Always Rings Twice). He penned the Tommy Dorsey Classic, "Getting Sentimental Over You", was the musical arranger for Lena Horne and Benny Goodman and orchestrated for the legendary Andre Kostelanetz.
